Hofkaserei Kraus Alp Blossom Wheel 13 Lb

Nestled in the heart of Bavaria, Hofkäserei Kraus embodies a tradition of artisanal craftsmanship that honors the rich agricultural heritage of the Alpine region. The Hofkaserei Kraus Alp Blossom Wheel, an exquisite 13-pound marvel, is a celebration of the vibrant flora that thrives across the Hay Belt, an enchanting expanse that spans Eastern Switzerland, Southern Germany, and Western Austria. This masterfully crafted cheese is a testament to the dedication of Albert Kraus, who has been producing exceptional cheese from the finest Allgäu milk since March 1999. Sourced exclusively from two family-run farms within a mere 5 kilometers of the dairy, the milk is delivered daily from Brown Swiss herds, ensuring unparalleled freshness and quality.

Aged for approximately seven months, each Alp Blossom Wheel is meticulously adorned by hand with a medley of dried edible flowers and herbs, gathered from the lush Alpine meadows that envelop the dairy. This artisanal touch not only enhances the visual allure of the cheese but also infuses it with a complex bouquet of herbaceous aromas, inviting you to indulge in its dense, semi-firm texture. As you savor each bite, the nuanced flavors unfold, revealing the essence of the Alpine landscape—an experience that transports you to the sun-drenched pastures of Bavaria.

For an elevated tasting experience, pair the Alp Blossom Wheel with a delicate Riesling or a robust craft beer, allowing the vibrant floral notes to harmonize with the refreshing acidity of your chosen beverage. Whether gracing a charcuterie board or inspiring your next culinary creation, this remarkable cheese promises to be a centerpiece of sophistication and taste, inviting you to celebrate the artistry of fine cheese-making.
