Cypress Grove Midnight Moon Wheel 8.5 Lb

Cypress Grove Midnight Moon Wheel is a masterclass in artisan cheesemaking, embodying the rich traditions of Northern California’s lush pastures. Crafted from the milk of carefully tended goats, this gouda-style cheese reflects the dedication and expertise of its makers, who have transformed the landscape of American cheese since the company’s inception in 1983. Aged for a minimum of six months, Midnight Moon reveals a creamy, blushing ivory exterior, hinting at the complex flavor profile that awaits within.

Upon tasting, one is met with an orchestra of nutty and brown buttery notes that gracefully unfold, culminating in a lingering caramel finish. The cheese’s smooth texture is punctuated by delicate protein crystals, providing a subtle crunch that elevates the overall experience. This distinctive interplay of flavors and textures makes Midnight Moon a celebrated “gateway goat cheese,” appealing to both seasoned connoisseurs and newcomers alike.

Ideal for a sophisticated cheese board or a refined picnic, Cypress Grove Midnight Moon pairs beautifully with a drizzle of honey and a handful of spiced nuts. For a touch of elegance, consider serving it alongside a crisp Sauvignon Blanc or a rich, fruity Merlot, allowing the wine to enhance the cheese’s nuanced flavors. With its artisanal craftsmanship and exceptional quality, Cypress Grove Midnight Moon invites you to indulge in a taste of luxury, celebrating the exquisite marriage of tradition and innovation.
