Emmi Le Gruyere Quarter Wheel 17 Lb

Discover the exquisite allure of Emmi Le Gruyère Quarter Wheel, a testament to Switzerland's time-honored cheesemaking tradition. Crafted by Emmi USA, a proud subsidiary of the Emmi Group—the largest milk processor in Switzerland—this artisanal cheese embodies the essence of its alpine origins. Each wheel is a labor of love, nurtured by the meticulous craftsmanship that has been passed down through generations. The artistry of Emmi cheesemakers shines through as they employ age-old Swiss recipes, ensuring that every bite tells a story steeped in heritage.

As you unearth this quarter wheel, you are greeted by an inviting golden hue, hinting at the complexity that lies within. Emmi Le Gruyère is slowly matured in a cave-like cellar, where the humidity and temperature create an ideal environment for flavor development. Each wheel is delicately turned, lightly brined, and brushed—an intricate process that reveals its distinctive character. The result is a cheese with a refined balance of sweetness and earthiness, offering notes of candied walnuts, dried fruit, and a subtle hint of spice.

Elevate your culinary endeavors by incorporating Emmi Le Gruyère into classic dishes such as French onion soup or fondue, where its rich, nutty flavor melts seamlessly into sumptuous creations. For a delightful contrast, consider pairing it with fresh apples, pears, or figs, alongside a glass of Riesling or a Blonde Ale. Whether gracing your charcuterie board or serving as the centerpiece of an elegant gathering, this exceptional cheese is a celebration of artisanal craftsmanship that invites you to savor the rich tapestry of Swiss tradition.
