Mott Street Shrimp Siu Mai

Mott Street’s Shrimp Siu Mai celebrates the art of classic Cantonese dim sum with a focus on fresh, succulent shrimp. Each dumpling is expertly hand-shaped, featuring a delicate, thin wheat wrapper that cradles a generous filling of sweet, tender shrimp. The open-topped design showcases the vibrant pink and white hues of the seafood, inviting you to enjoy a timeless favorite that bridges tradition and contemporary taste. Whether served as an elegant appetizer or as part of a larger dim sum spread, these siu mai offer a refined bite that stands out for its simplicity and quality ingredients.

The sensory experience begins with the first bite: a pleasing contrast between the soft, yielding wrapper and the juicy, savory shrimp filling. Steamed to perfection, the Shrimp Siu Mai releases subtle aromas of the sea, balanced with a hint of umami. These dumplings are ready to steam from frozen, making them a convenient yet luxurious addition to any gathering. Serve them with a side of soy sauce, chili oil, or a touch of black vinegar for a classic pairing, or let them shine as part of a larger hors d’oeuvres selection.

For your next dinner party, cocktail hour, or festive brunch, Mott Street Shrimp Siu Mai brings restaurant-quality dim sum to your home. Pair with jasmine tea or a crisp white wine to enhance the delicate flavors, and enjoy the ease and sophistication of this beloved Chinese classic.
