Spotted Trotter Uncured Sujuk Salami, 2.85 lb

Spotted Trotter Uncured Sujuk Salami is a celebration of heritage charcuterie, crafted with a thoughtful blend of humanely sourced, pastured beef and lamb. This pork-free salami is inspired by the robust flavors of traditional sujuk, elevated through the use of carefully toasted cumin, organic garlic, and the tangy brightness of Georgia sumac. The result is a rich, complex sausage that stands out on any charcuterie board, offering a unique option for those seeking a pork-free or beef-and-lamb-forward selection.

The salami’s deep, earthy aroma gives way to a satisfying, toothsome bite, with the balanced interplay of warm spices and a subtle citrus note from the sumac. Each unsliced piece is wrapped in paper to preserve its freshness and artisanal character, making it ideal for slicing to your preferred thickness. This sujuk salami pairs beautifully with creamy, soft-ripened cheeses and is particularly striking alongside nutty, aged sheep’s milk cheeses. Its bold profile also complements robust wines such as Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, or a chilled rosé on a summer afternoon.

For gatherings, Spotted Trotter Uncured Sujuk Salami offers a conversation-starting centerpiece. Serve it with crusty bread, olives, and a selection of farmhouse ales or porters for a memorable spread. Whether featured on a charcuterie platter or enjoyed as a savory snack, this salami brings depth and distinction to every occasion.
