Central Goat Moliterno Cheese 12 LB

Available in very limited quantities! The fantastic Sardinian cheesemakers at Central decided to experiment with Goat Milk – the result is Moliterno Bianco, an exceptional new “Canestrato” cheese. You’ll notice the hallmark Moliterno “basket” imprint on the wheel, and the relatively light color of its rind. The paste is also a pale white – unlike cows or sheep, goats convert all of the golden carotenes it ingests into vitamin A, which gives the milk a bright white color. The cheese itself is creamy yet slightly crumbly, with a sweet, citrusy flavor. Make it the star of a cheese board!
